Sharon Nayger is an admitted attorney and a certified Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Sloan Master of Science in Leadership and Strategy from London Business School.

With over 25 years of experience in financial services at institutions including the South African Reserve Bank, Investec, and Transaction Capital, Sharon has held senior leadership roles in legal, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Her positions included Head of Legal and Compliance for Trading and Derivatives, Joint Head of Investec Group Compliance (South Africa), and Group Company Secretary at Transaction Capital.

Through these roles, Sharon developed deep expertise in regulatory oversight, risk management, governance frameworks, and complex financial transactions, including derivatives structuring and equity-backed financing. This background provides her with a strong foundation for advising organisations on responsible AI adoption, regulatory compliance, and governance structures that support innovation and expansion.
